Sack Pack Fantasy Football League: Week 1 Recap & Week 2 Preview!

Alright, Sack Pack—let me get this out of the way: I’m still licking my wounds from Week 1. The Lollipop Guild got absolutely trampled by the Amazons. And guess what? Week 2 isn’t looking any better. What is happening to me?! 😩

But enough about my personal misery—let’s talk about the rest of you!

Week 1 Recap

First off, League Champ, Go Birds, came flying out the gate like they OWN the league with a massive 146.68 points in their win over The Scumbags (91.86). They didn’t just win… they CRUSHED… everyone.

Meanwhile, we had some heartbreakers:

• Snoochie Boochies edged out the Vaders with 112.76 to 110.62—I mean, losing with 110 points? Absolute TRAGEDY. 🥀
• Fighting Fistula made easy work of the Astrocats, winning 117.60 to 97.68.
• Shady Bradys surprised us all with a solid victory over last year’s juggernaut, the RG3POs, 104.68 to 90.54—not the start RG3POs were hoping for!
• Mean Hawks straight up dominated Regis Island, 106.12 to 69.36. Regis didn’t even show up, apparently.
• Good Picks were feeling good about their 106.12 to 58.22 blowout against Red Hot Lover—who, I guess, was more of a lukewarm lover in Week 1.

1. Go Birds soaring high
2. Fighting Fistula putting the hurt on everyone
3. Snoochie Boochies squeaking out W’s
4. Mean Hawks showing no mercy
5. Good Picks are feeling great
6. Shady Bradys are surprisingly solid
7. Amazons quietly handling business

And the rest of us… well, we’re licking our wounds in the bottom half. 😢

Week 2 Preview: Let’s Goooo!

Week 2 is already on, and we’re back for more action. Here’s what’s on deck:

• Lollipop Guild vs. Regis Island: Yeah, I’m not expecting much here, with Regis Island projected to win. At this point, I just want to survive.
• Amazons vs. The Scumbags: This one’s a nail-biter, folks! It’s 97.1 to 97.79—someone’s going to squeak out a win. My popcorn is ready! 🍿
• Go Birds vs. RG3POs: The Go Birds are looking like the favorites, but RG3POs can’t stay quiet forever, right? RIGHT?
• Good Picks vs. Fighting Fistula: Two top-5 teams go head-to-head, with Fistula projected to keep their winning ways alive. This could be a battle! 💥
• Mean Hawks vs. Red Hot Lover: Mean Hawks are projected to win, and unless Red Hot Lover starts to heat things up, it’s gonna be another rough week. 🔥🔥
• Vaders vs. Shady Bradys: Vaders are projected to bounce back, but Shady Bradys could surprise again. This one’s got sleeper vibes! 😴
• Snoochie Boochies vs. Astrocats: It looks like the Boochies are poised for another W, but the Astrocats might have a trick or two up their sleeves.
