Let’s Get Ready to Royal Rumble

We’ll be deciding the draft order for our Draft Day by Royal Rumble!

But don’t worry. You don’t have to squeeze into any tights or practice up on The Peoples Elbow. We’re running a simulation using WWE2K23 on our Twitch channel. Each member of Sack Pack will be assigned a character in the Royal Rumble simulation based on the order in which they enter the Royal Rumble. Entry is determined by our 2022 season results. For people returning or new to the league, seniority will be used instead. So The Scumbags will be assigned the first entrant because they were first in the league standings at the end of the last season. The game won’t let us set any number we want for entrants, so we have to use a 20-person Royal Rumble. We’ll assign past players simply as fillers and their results will be ignored in our draft order determinations.

Draft Order will be determined by opposite Royal Rumble simulation eliminations. For example, the first eliminated is the last in our draft order. The last eliminated (last person standing in the ring and therefore the winner of the Royal Rumble) will be the 1st in our draft order.

For those of you unfamiliar with professional wrestling and the Royal Rumble, this may seem confusing at first, but I assure you it’s all very simple. We’ll be running a test stream or two to make sure everything is going as planned. For those of you who are already following Sack Pack on Twitch, you might receive notifications of us going live. Feel free to watch the test runs. Assuming all goes well, the main event will take place on Friday, August, 11 at 8PM ET on our Twitch channel: twitch.tv/sackpackff and results will be posted as soon as possible. If we need to reschedule, we will let you know as soon as we can.
